Job Responsibility:
Financial Compliance:Responsible for ensuring company compliance with legal and financial regulations and standards (IFRS, GAAP etc).
Financial Oversight: Responsible for the management of cash flow position and maintaining the integrity of funds and bank accounts. Financial Statements: Responsible for the preparation of required monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) and oversees preparation of annual audit and tax submissions.
Financial Performance: Responsible for using tools like the balanced scorecard, dashboards, and financial statement ratio analysis to communicate the company’s financial performance.
Budgeting and Expense Control: Responsible for overseeing the budgeting process, collating the inputs, and comparing the company’s actual performance with budget. Ensures credibility by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO, the Board of Directors and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
Risk Management: Responsible for understanding all of the company’s liabilities and maintaining appropriate levels of operating cash and liquidity Accounting Policies and Procedures: Responsible for the establishment of accounting policies and procedures for credit and collections, purchasing, payment of bills, and other financial obligations.
Business Development: Responsible for development of financial business plans and forecasts and engaging management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections. Financial Relationship
Management: Responsible for representing the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, board, auditors, etc. People Management: Continually evaluate the finance team structure and plan for ongoing improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group, as well as providing individuals with professional growth plans.
Qualification:
- Experience in a large FMCG manufacturing company
- Excellent management accounting skills
- Good Knowledge of Investment management and financial reporting standards
- Commercial awareness
- Good problem-solving and decision making ability

- Prerequisites (minimum requirement)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) – Second Class Lower
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) 15 – 20 years
