Job Details:
      In this role you will be responsible for providing 5 Star Service to Qatar Airways customers throughout their Airport experience. Your responsibilities will include the overall control of the shift as a direct representative of Airport Services Duty Manager. You will monitor the activities at the airport and coordinate with other sections ensuring the punctuality and safety of all Qatar Airways operations.

     As the first personal contact between the Airline and its customers, you will portray Qatar Airways image to the highest standard ensuring that our customers receive our award winning 5 Star Service at all times.  
    You will do this by being a liaison between airport service providers and users.  Further to this you will be responsible for ensuring passenger and aircraft handling practices conform to safety and security measures and conduct spot checks to ensure high standards are always maintained.

    You will be responsible for solving customer problems and complaints, working with Customer Relations to provide resolutions.  You will also process high profile passengers with special handling in a discreet way.  

Responsibility

  • You must hold an Associate degree as well as a minimum of 5 years job related experience at least one year of which must be in a supervisory level within an airline or GHA.  Further to this you must possess an advanced course in passenger handling as well as weight and balance and ramp handling training as well as good understanding of ICAO and IATA procedures.

  • You must be fluent in English communication skills and your past experiences will mean you have the ability to display managerial skills including managing workflow, strong mentoring and coaching skills, an ability to train and foster teamwork amongst team members.  You will have GCC multi-cultural workforce experience.
