EXPORT MANAGER Job At Kasapreko Company Ltd - Ghana


Job Title :  EXPORT MANAGER
Location: Greater Accra




Responsibility:

  •      Analyze and monitor global markets and prepare a business plan (within 3 months), to identify and develop new sales opportunities for the export of products
  •      Research and explore potential global market for Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverage products and prepare timely reports on geographical location basis
  •      Consistently study and monitor the global market trends for Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverage products, analyse and regularly report on product and region basis, and highlight market/sector potentials
  •      Ensure adherence to country specific importation legislation
  •      Identify, communicate and coordinate with overseas buyers and build sustainable business relationships
  •      Responsible for providing global market intelligence and competitor activity reports to the management
  •      Prepare quotation and C& F pricing for overseas buyers
  •      Effectively negotiate with international buyers  to execute sales
  •      Responsible for evaluating and selecting appropriate freight forwarders
  •      Act as key liaison with relevant government and non-government agencies e.g. excise, export promotion bureau, shipping company etc.
  •      Arrange shipping details such as export licenses, customs declarations, packing, shipping and routing of products
  •      Expedites export arrangements and maintain current information on export tariffs, licenses and restrictions.
  •      Generate all required export documentation; i.e. airway bills, bill of lading, invoices, packing lists and letters of credit when needed and to record and file appropriately.
  •      Work with the Marketing team to develop appropriate marketing materials for an international audience
  •      Coordinate export shipments from origin until final destination
  •      Assist in recruitment and training of team members and manage their performance, learning and development and coaching needs
  •      Raise efficiency through the team in functions of customer acquisition, product sale, compliance, logistics etc.






QUALIFICATION


  •      Minimum relevant first degree from a reputable university (MBA desirable) with at least 5 years’ international commercial sales experience in a reputable FMCG preferably beverage sector
  •      Familiar with Incoterms, government agencies, basic laws and regulations for movement of goods to overseas
  •      Highly Flexible and adaptable
  •      Team player with excellent communication skills to interact successfully
  •      Understand complexity of supply chain activities and the most appropriate distribution channels in key export markets
  •      Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff to give of their best
  •      Ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships at the highest levels including international clients
  •      Strong Planning, negotiation and organizational skills
  •      Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
  •      Results Orientated and Meeting Customer Expectations
  •      Problem Solving, analytical thinking & Decision Making
  •      Cross Cultural awareness with fluency in French (spoken and written) highly advantageous
