Job Description
Preparation of the Group’s Financial and Management accounts, including reports.
Participation in evaluating and applying new local and international accounting, tax and other standards.
Quickly gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Group, its divisions and reporting systems.Assisting in developing a culture of efficiency and service orientation within Group Accounts.
This includes participating in all activities within the department’s areas of responsibility.
Participating in various business development projects by providing appropriate expertise.
Providing hands on support for acquisitions, disposals and special projects.
Job Requirements
- Be a dynamic individual with a CA (SA) qualification.
- Have approximately 3-5 years post articles experience.
- Have consolidation accounting exposure.
- Be disciplined and detailed in the approach to the implementation and execution of finance systems and processes.
- Be a strong team player with a high energy level.
- Be a good relationship builder who can make use of relationships within the parent company and associated divisions.
- Be analytical and detailed.
- Have above average computer literacy.
- Have ability to communicate well at both head office and divisional level.
