Needed Technical Qualifications
- Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Qlikview
- Strong knowledge on Qlikview server architecture and building QVD'S and QVW'S applying business rules and data validations
- Must have developed enterprise applications for use in production environments using Qlikview. Well versed with deployment methodologies
- Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
- Ability to write complicated yet efficient SQL queries and stored procedures (3-5 years of experience)
- Knowledge of formal database architecture and design
- Advanced knowledge and use of Excel
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
Job Duties:
- Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in Qlikview;
- Design, develop, and test Qlikview scripts to import data from source systems;
- Design, develop, and test Qlikview dashboards to meet customer requirements
- Participate in design workshops, providing technical insight and knowledge
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Create and maintain technical design documentation
- Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications manage the Development of Qlikview models and Deployment of developments / Qlikview models Competencies
Qualifications
- minimum 3 – 5 years’ Qlikview – SQL
- / SSIS experience (preferably in a fmcg or retailing environment)
- Eager to learn
- Analytical
- Have a good business mind and Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and independently when required
