Matric with B.BusSci / B.Sc specialising in IT / software engineering
Strong mathematical and computational ability a plus
Years of Experience
5-8 years in software development
Important to have relevant asset management experience
Combination of financial and technical will hit upper threshold on salary scale

C#.Net; SQL 2008/12
Test Driven Design (TDD) through automated regression testing suite called fitnesse
Continuous integration (CI); repository is Subversion, though changing to GIT
Resharper used, together with DevExpress as primary development tools
Responsibilities
Senior person to a 10person team; integral to the team and reporting directly through to the development
manager. Dev manager reports to COO, so flat structure. 30people in the company as a whole.
Approximately 60% maintenance; balance new stuff and regression
