Location: Kenilworth, Cape Town - South Africa
Reporting to: Accounting Manager
Qualification
- Hold a relevant degree or similar in Accounting/Finance;
- Have at least 2 years experience working in an Accounting environment;
- Have excellent attention to detail;
- Are team orientated;
- Have an excellent command of the English language and the ability to engage professionally with international clients
- Are structured and organised with good time management skills
- Are innovative and receptive to change.
- While not necessary experience in UK tax and working with Sage will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- New Client consultations
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of Closure Accounts
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns
- Complete cashbook and VAT returns
- Preparation of reference documentation
- Assist with email and telephonic client queries
- Assist with ad-hoc admin
