Job Title: Area Manager
Department : Marketing
Job Duties:
- Develop brand’s long-term strategy in terms of positioning, unique selling points, target audience, etc.
- Create awareness about the brand in the area
- Design and implement area specific promotion to drive volume growth
- Bridge the gap between the organization and the public
- Be custodian of the brand in the area
- Execute all projects as assigned by the Regional Manager & Head office
- Merchandising / ensuring good product visibility in all the areas
- Developing brand strategies and executing marketing programs to achieve or exceed overall corporate financial goals.
Qualification
- 2-3 years working experience in related field
- Computer literacy compulsory – must be familiar with Excel, Word processing and Power point software packages
- Ability to think laterally
- First Degree in Social Sciences or any marketing related field
- Post graduate degree in marketing (optional)
Objectives of Job:
- Build and maintain excellence customer relationship and position with distributors/wholesalers/retailers
- Monitor and review marketing activities geared towards sustaining brand’s integrity among its populace.
- Increase the awareness of the brand in the areas
- To induce trial in the area
- Ensure implementation of mechanisms developed in order to achieve marketing goals and strategies of increasing brands’ share in the market at profitable margins in line with the company’s Annual Operating Plan
