Location: Ghana
Requirement:
- Lead in the planning, implementation of project, systems and technologies
- Participate in the design and testing of new tools (mobile and web applications)
- Develop strategies to deploy the software in West and East African countries
- Understand who the client is and what the client’s needs are; provides realistic expectations; establishes specific customer satisfaction; Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Pro-actively engages present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting, and implementation.
- Create within the team a shared focus on the importance of achieving results. Create work standards for project; establishes and defines roles and responsibilities, specific outcomes, and clear measures for quality and success of the team.
- Follow through with fair and consistent consequences for both achieving and not achieving results. Provide performance feedback and assists employees with plans for development and training.
- Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to donors, and to the Board of Directors
- Ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability
Qualification:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Agribusiness, Project Management
- Five years of experience in a technology environment, including 2-3 years of practical professional experience in project management.
- Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development; outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Familiar with managing donor project is preferred
